Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 19, 2026
Neighbor Saver, LLC, doing business as NeighborSaver ("NeighborSaver," "we," "us," or "our"), is a family-run direct mail business operated by Rick and Marci Herman, located at 1315 Granada Blvd, Coral Gables, FL 33134. This policy explains what information we collect when you use neighborsavermail.com (the "Site") or place an order with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Questions? Call 610-331-7060 or email info@neighborsavermail.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, start an order, or contact us, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, campaign details, mailing area, and any notes you provide. We store this information in a private Google Drive folder accessible only to the NeighborSaver team.
Files you upload. If you upload artwork or a mailing list, we store and use those files to prepare and send your mailing. Files are kept in our private Google Drive folder. A mailing list may contain personal information about people other than you — your customers, prospects, members, donors, or tenants. We handle that information only on your behalf and only to fulfill your campaign. See "Mailing lists you provide" below.
Payment information. Today, every order is reviewed and priced by us, personally — a real person, not an automated system. Marci confirms your price and arranges payment with you directly. We do not have self-serve online checkout, and nothing is charged automatically. If we add online checkout in the future, payments would be processed by Stripe — card details would be entered on Stripe's secure checkout page and handled by Stripe, not stored by us (see stripe.com/privacy). We will update this policy before any online checkout goes live.
Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we collect basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links. If you arrive from an ad, we record the campaign parameters (UTM tags) so we know which ad brought you.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising tools
We use a consent management layer (Cloudflare Zaraz) to control what runs on the Site, and no non-essential tool runs before the consent layer permits it. What "permits" means depends on where you are. For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, non-essential tools run only if you click accept in the cookie banner (opt-in), and you can withdraw consent at any time. For visitors in the United States, these tools are permitted by default when you visit, and you can turn them off at any time — decline them in the banner or use the cookie settings link in the Site footer.
The tools we use (or have configured to use) are:
- Google Analytics 4 — web analytics from Google that helps us understand site usage: pages visited, traffic sources, and general visitor behavior. Google collects this data using cookies and similar identifiers and processes it as described in Google's Privacy Policy. To learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services, visit policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Google Ads conversion tracking — measures whether visits from our Google ads lead to actions like quote requests or orders. You can control ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measures site activity for our advertising on Meta platforms. When active, the Pixel shares information about your visit (such as pages viewed and actions taken) with Meta, which Meta may use as described in its Privacy Policy. You can manage the ads you see in your Meta account's ad preferences, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at aboutads.info/choices or optout.networkadvertising.org.
None of these tools sets cookies or fires before the consent layer permits it.
How we use your information
- To review, price, prepare, and send your direct mail campaign.
- To communicate with you about your quote, order, or question.
- To collect payment and send receipts.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To measure our marketing, including which ads lead to orders.
- To meet legal, tax, and postal recordkeeping requirements.
We send transactional email about your quotes and orders. If we send marketing email, it will come from us, will identify us and our postal address, and will include a working unsubscribe link; we honor opt-outs promptly, as the CAN-SPAM Act requires. Unsubscribing from marketing email does not stop transactional messages about an active order.
How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to run the business:
- Print and mail vendors and the U.S. Postal Service, to print and deliver your mailing (this includes your artwork and, for list-based campaigns, the mailing list for your job).
- Google (Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Apps Script), which we use to store order records and run our order-capture workflow. Google acts as our service provider under its data processing terms.
- Advertising and analytics providers (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta), as described in the cookies section above.
- Stripe, only if and when self-serve online checkout launches (not in use today).
- Professional advisers and authorities, if required for tax, legal, or postal compliance, or to protect our rights or safety.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the consented ad-measurement tools described above. We never sell, rent, or reuse a mailing list you upload.
Mailing lists you provide (information about third parties)
When a customer uploads a mailing list, we act as that customer's service provider. We use the list only to prepare and send that customer's campaign — cleaning, validating, addressing, and mailing. We do not use it for our own marketing, do not add it to any list of ours, and do not sell or rent it. We delete an uploaded list at the customer's request, unless we need to keep a record for tax, postal, or legal purposes.
If you received a mailing prepared by us, the advertiser named on the mailpiece chose the mailing list. Questions about how your address was obtained should go to that advertiser; we will pass along requests we receive. To reduce the promotional mail you receive generally, you can register with DMAchoice.
Storage, security, and retention
Order details and uploaded files are stored in a private Google Drive folder accessible only to NeighborSaver staff. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls on stored files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security; if a breach of security affecting your personal information ever occurs, we will notify you as required by law, including Florida's Information Protection Act.
We keep order records for approximately seven years to meet tax and postal recordkeeping obligations, then delete or de-identify them. Uploaded mailing lists are kept only as long as needed for your campaign and our records, and we honor earlier deletion requests as described above.
Your privacy choices and rights
Whether or not a particular privacy law applies to us, we extend these choices to everyone: you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask what we have collected. Email info@neighborsavermail.com or call 610-331-7060, and we will verify your request and respond within 45 days. We will never treat you worse for exercising these choices. If we cannot fully honor a request (for example, records we must keep for tax purposes), we will tell you why.
California residents: NeighborSaver is a small family business that we believe falls below the thresholds that make the CCPA/CPRA apply. We honor the requests above for California residents regardless. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising except through the consented tools described above, which you can decline via the cookie banner.
EEA and UK visitors: Our services are offered in the United States and we mail only within the United States; we do not target the EEA or UK. If you visit the Site from the EEA or UK, non-essential cookies run only with your opt-in consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings link. Where EU or UK data protection law applies to any processing, our bases are performance of a contract, compliance with law, our legitimate interest in running and securing the Site, and consent (for non-essential cookies).
Children
The Site is for business advertisers. It is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 to place an order. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at info@neighborsavermail.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The effective date above shows the current version. If we make material changes — for example, launching online checkout — we will post the updated policy on this page before the change takes effect.
